Recently, ACJ in collaboration with Bloomberg has also launched a new postgraduate diploma course in Business and Financial Journalism (BFJ).
ACJ entrance exam 2018 dates are not out yet. However, in 2017, the journalism entrance exam for admission in different PG Diploma and BFJ courses was conducted on May 14 and June 4, respectively.

ACJ Entrance Exam 2018 Process
Step 1: Fill ACJ Entrance Exam Application Form
Candidates need to fill the application form for ACJ admissions 2018 in online (on the official website of the college) or offline (by downloading the form from the official website of the college and thereafter posting it to the concerned authorities) mode.
ACJ fee for entrance exam can be paid by candidates online or even by means of a Demand Draft (DD).

The DD needs to be drawn in favour of “Media Development Foundation” and should be payable at Chennai. The DD should have the full name as well as address of the candidate clearly written on the back of the DD.

Aspirants need to download their admit card for ACJ admissions 2018 from the official website of the college by using their registered email ID and password.

ACJ Entrance Exam Pattern for PG Diploma in Journalism and PG Diploma in BFJ courses is as mentioned below:
For PG Diploma in Journalism Course
ACJ Entrance Exam Pattern is such that the test is divided into two parts. The first part tends to evaluate aspirants on the basis of their English language skills and facility whereas in the second part awareness of current affairs and general knowledge of candidates is tested.
Apart from this, the official website states that ACJ entrance exam “also tests the candidates’ writing ability and assess their analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Other procedures may be prescribed for candidates from abroad”. The official website also informs that the exam will be delivered online in real time.

For PG Diploma in Business & Financial Journalism Course
ACJ Entrance Exam Pattern for BFJ course is such that there will be questions related to the below-mentioned subjects:
- English language skills and facility
- Current affairs and general knowledge
- Basic Maths
Besides, there will also be a question wherein candidates have to write a 200-word essay on a given subject. The question aims at testing the writing ability of candidates.
It may be noted that the official website informs, “the examination will be delivered online in real time.”
Step 4: Appear for Interview
Aspirants who are shortlisted for admission basis their performance in ACJ entrance exam need to appear for an interview at Asian College of Journalism as per the schedule shared by the college.
Step 5: Check ACJ Entrance Exam Result
Asian College of Journalism declares ACJ entrance exam result in online mode on its official website as per the prescribed schedule. Date for ACJ entrance exam 2018 result is not out yet. However in 2017, the result for journalism entrance exam was declared on June 7.
Candidates can check their result for ACJ entrance exam 2018 by visiting the official website of Asian College of Journalism and clicking on the Result link present on the page. ACJ entrance exam result will contain the names and/ or roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for admissions 2018.
It may be noted that candidates selected for ACJ admissions 2018 will also be intimated by college authorities via email with details of fee payments.
Thereafter, all shortlisted candidates need to submit the first installment of ACJ admission fee as per the prescribed date and time. Candidates can pay the fee either in the online or offline (DD in favour of Media Development Foundation, payable at Chennai) mode.
