XIC OET 2018 Summary

Xavier Institute of Communications conducts Online Entrance Test in order to offer admission to aspirants in mass communication courses available at the college.

On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in Xavier Institute of Communications Online Entrance Test 2018 (XIC OET 2018), he/she can secure admission in the below mentioned Diploma courses:

  • Journalism & Mass Communication
  • Public Relations & Corporate Communication
  • Advertising & Marketing Communication
  • Film, Television & Digital Video Production

XIC OET 2018 exam dates have not been declared yet by Xavier Institute of Communications. However, in 2017, the mass communication entrance exam was conducted in the months of April, May, and June at different test centres.

XIC OET 2018 Eligibility

Candidates need to meet XIC OET 2018 eligibility criteria if they want to secure admission in diploma programmes offered at Xavier Institute of Communications.

As per XIC OET eligibility criteria, any aspirant is eligible to apply for Xavier Institute of Communications 2018 admissions if they have completed three years of their graduation (12+3 years) from any stream that is approved by the University such as, Arts, Commerce, Science, BMM, Computers, BMS, BE, Catering, etc.

Age Limit: Candidates meet XIC OET eligibility criteria is they are 35 years or below in age.

Note: The official website informs that if any aspirant is appearing in their Last Semester or Third year Graduation in the current Academic year then “In this last case, if selected for the XIC Course of your choice, and successfully complete it in keeping with the Academic, Attendance and other standards laid down by XIC, the Diploma will be awarded only on completion of your graduation and on production of the relevant attested Final mark-sheet of your graduation”.

Step 1: Fill XIC OET Application Form

Aspirants need to apply for Xavier Institute of Communications Entrance Test on the official website of the college.

Candidates can pay their XIC OET 2018 application fee online via net banking.

Step 2: Download XIC OET Admit Card

The admit card for XIC OET will be sent to aspirants on their registered email address. No separate XIC OET 2018 admit card would be issued to any candidate.

Step 3: Take XIC Entrance Exam

Candidates need to appear for Xavier Institute of Communications Online Entrance Test which is of 90 minutes duration. XIC OET exam consists of both objective as well as subjective type questions.

Step 4: Appear for GD/Personal Interview/Skype Interview

For XIC admissions 2018, aspirants who clear the written entrance exam then need to appear for either a group discussion round or an interview round depending on the course for which they are applying.

XIC OET 2018 Pattern

XIC OET 2018 exam pattern is such that aspirants need to attempt all the questions in one and a half hour duration.

XIC entrance exam paper consists of two sections. The first section contains objective type questions and the second one has subjective questions.
